John W. Trimble

John acquired an equity interest in Geo-Source, Inc. during its first year of operation and has co-owned and managed the direction and day to day operations of the business ever since. He is a graduate of Bay Side Academy (1985) in Daphne, Alabama and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee in 1989. John participated in the development and operation of an ecological tourism project in Costa Rica during the first few years of his professional career deepening his interest and expertise in ecology and natural resource management.

He later returned to his high school alma mater to teach biology and oceanography. John obtained an Alabama real estate license, the experience of which continues to serve him in his handling of environmental assessments associated with real estate transactions and developments. Upon joining Geo-Source, Inc. John developed strategic relationships with multiple municipalities and commercial real estate development firms throughout North Alabama. He is also instrumental in handling client accounts for timberland related services throughout the Southeastern U.S.

Throughout his career with Geo-Source, Inc. John has developed his expertise in wetlands delineation and permitting, environmental site assessments and rare biological species studies through extensive training with multiple agencies. John is certified through the National Registry of Environmental Professionals as a Registered Environmental Manager (No. 08581). John is married to Beth Trimble and has three children.
